Well, after fixing a small leak around the petcock, she started on the 3rd kick. Pretty sweet. Runs great and sounds awesome… I’ll finish the buffing tomorrow and get it all assembled for it’s first road test.

This is one of those entertaining videos that really means nothing. Kinda like the supercar vs. fighter jet match-ups. But it is entertaining- and a bit too long for a simple drag race.
I found this video on YouTube… this is the bike that is the inspiration for the R6 I just finished. Great video of KR riding a demo lap at Laguna before the MotoGP race last year.

OK, this is a bit harsh since Harley really has updated their bikes with things like Showa suspension and Nippon Denso electronics (both Japanese, BTW) but, still funny.
I saw this over at asphaltandrubber.com and just wanted you to see how dangerous quick refueling can be… Apparently, no one was seriously injured in the accident but it is pretty spectacular.

I have fixed a few bikes when guys have hit deer, and it is always a lot worse than this. The fact that he kept the bike up and didn’t crash is amazing. Probably more luck than skill, but hey, it’s better to be lucky than good sometimes!
Well, if you haven’t seen this, it is just great. He hadn’t ridden any bike in a year and he jumps on maybe the hardest, most beastly bike ever created and rides like it is 1975. Pretty cool.
Lots of time and effort went into this video of a GSXR reassembling itself. It is really well done. I wish my bikes would reassemble themselves like this!
