Well, we are a that place… many of the smaller jobs are done like rebuilding the calipers and master cylinders but the engine is waiting. The bike only has 12K miles on it and is all original but the problem is of course the crank seals on a 35 year old 2-stroke. So, it is coming apart. So far, the clutch assembly is removed and the water pump and oil pump seals have been replaced. Everything looks like new inside. The next step is getting the flywheel off so we can split the case and replace the seals. Right now, I’m waiting on a flywheel puller to arrive- should be tomorrow. If you need one for a job like this, Amazon has several
and with Prime, you can usually get it in a day.
