We are starting on the next 69 El Tigre I bought last Oct at the Barber Vintage Festival. These are super rare since they were a 1 year only bike for the US market. It is a complete bike but in very rough shape- although the engine has compression and kicks over. So far, the frame has been stripped and sand blasted, epoxy primed and work has started on the hubs and wheels. Because the El Tigre is just a Metralla in scrambler form, we are still deciding if we want to build it as a Metralla since they are much prettier and more sought after. That decision will have to be made soon since there are a couple brackets on the frame for the El Tigre that would have to come off for a Metralla.
