I picked up a Kawasaki ZZR600 at the auction last Friday and was reminded of what a great bike it is for the money. The current ZZR is the old ZX6R that was retired when the ZX636 and new ZX6R came out a few years back. Of course there are better 600cc sportbikes out there, but, for a balanced, comfortable, roomy 600 that still handles well and has excellent power, I don’t think you can find a better bike for the money. ZZR’s are almost in the price range of Katana’s and old Honda F4’s but for that money, you get a much newer, faster, better handling bike. So, if you are looking for one of the best “bang for the buck” bikes, check out the ZZR600.
